The eleventh annual Saddleridge National Night Out program was held at the Saddleridge Clubhouse with approximately 100 residents in attendance. The event was organized by Neighborhood Watch coordinators Cecil and Lee Gibson. Guest speakers included county Sheriff Tommy Ratliff, Precinct 3 County Commissioner Will Conley, Firewise Specialist Jan Fulkerson, CERT Representative Bob Flocke, Sgt. Larry Coker, Lt. Leroy Opiela, Constable Tom Wallace, Constable Keith Tomlin and Firefighter Kay Mayfield. The speakers expressed gratitude for the active participation and citizen involvement in the Saddleridge Neighborhood Watch Program. They said resident awareness has been influential in preventing crime for the past eleven years and has substantially reduced law enforcement, fire protection and citizen emergency requirements.
