Welcome to the Saddleridge Property Owner's Website


Saddleridge is a community of 211 multi-acre homesites located in the Texas Hill Country 4 miles south of Wimberley, on the northeast corner of the junction of Ranch Road 12 and Ranch Road 32. As of summer 2008, 116 homes are either completed or in progress in the subdivision.

Ranch Road 12 TxDot Update - Saddleridge Clubhouse - Saturday, July 10th, 2010 at 10:00am

On Saturday, July 10th, at 10:00am the Saddleridge Board sponsored a meeting with Jeff Watson (TxDOT Project Manager) and Will Conley (Hay's County Commissioner) who presented TxDOT plans for Sink Creek, Hugo Road intersection, and the RR12/RR32 Junction over the next 12 to 24 months. About 40 interested Saddleridge property owners attended. If you weren't there and have any questions, please contact one of the Saddleridge Board Members.

Since the RR12/RR32 Junction work will impact both Saddleridge entrances, concept drawings were presented showing proposed signage and entrances when the work is completed. Click here to see the drawings (be patient, this file is about 800k).
 
 

July meeting of the Saddleridge Board of Directors - Monday, July 19th at 6:30pm

The July meeting of the SaddleRidge Board of Directors is scheduled for Monday, July 19th at 6:30pm. The first 30 minutes of each meeting will be open forum. If you have anything you'd like to discuss with the board, please feel free to attend during the open forum.
 
 

Firewise Communities USA

In 2004, Saddleridge became a member of the Firewise Communities USA. The Firewise Communities approach emphasizes community responsibility for planning in the design of a safe community as well as effective emergency response, and individual responsibility for safer home construction and design, landscaping, and maintenance.

Over the past few years we have worked with Jan Fulkerson of the Texas Forest Service to encourage effective fire safety practices within Saddleridge. Jan has attended and spoken at Saddleridge Board meetings and Neighborhood Night Out meetings, as well as worked with individual property owners to review and recommend specific changes to improve fire safety.

The Firewise website (www.firewise.org) has considerable information regarding fire safety and personal improvements that can be made. There are regular newsletters published on the website, and there's a page on the efforts undertaken by Saddleridge residents (www.firewise.org/usa/saddle_ridge.htm). Take a look at the information available on their website when you get a chance.
